Waking up for the sunrise is always worth it!
Sunrises in the summer months are always a commitment to wake up in time for, but they are 100000x worth it. When I asked Victoria and John to meet me at sunrise, their response was, “We are suckers for sunrises!” We met in Boulder at Chautauqua Park and together soaked in all the morning light.
Meet the couple:
Victoria and John are such sweethearts! I love working with couples who are madly in love, and these two are no exception. Every time I asked them to share a memory or look into each other’s eyes, they just BEAMED!! Enjoying time together is one of their favorite things to do, and I’m thankful that they invited me to document their love story. In addition to being absolute sweethearts, Victoria and John are both nerds at heart. #lovethem Being accountants with their love for numbers, their original wedding date was set for 10/10/2020. However, like most 2020 wedding couples, COVID-19 has changed their plans. With all of their family members wanting to travel in from different states, they’re rethinking their original ideas, while considering a small wedding or eloping.
I also can’t talk about Victoria and John without sharing their engagement story! John first proposed in a classicly romantic way, but then decided that he wanted to propose again in a more personal manner. How personal, you ask? He knew that Victoria LOVES cats, and she had been eyeing a cute kitten at a shelter, but restrained herself from bringing it home. John proposed with the kitten, completing their family of two humans, five cats, and a dog. So much love to go around!
One more thing!
